I like that you call it "paining." That was my experience, when I tried it. Before I realized I think textually, rather than visually. Either that, or I have a horrifically untalented right hand. Which, I suppose, is also a possibility.
I've just finished the move (What a treat! Moving, in Texas, in the middle of summer!), so I'm just starting to rejoin civilization, which means I'm just now discovering L's new blog, and her links to you and yours. (I'm sorry. I just couldn't cram any more "just"s into that sentence.) I'll try to stalk you both as quietly as possible.
